Terra Metals (ASX: TM1) has reported further drilling success at the Dante project in Western Australia, significantly expanding the Southwest Main Sulfide Corridor. New data confirms the mineralised system now spans over 950 metres of strike, 700 metres of width, and at least 750 metres down-dip. This discovery remains open in all directions and is located entirely outside the company’s existing 148Mt mineral resource, marking a distinct growth opportunity within the Jameson Layered Intrusion.

Recent reverse circulation drilling highlights the system’s scale, particularly with hole SWRC064, which intersected 157 metres of mineralisation starting from just 5 metres downhole. This result is notable for confirming that the mineralised package reaches near-surface, which management suggests could support a low strip ratio for a potential starter pit. Other holes also returned thick, consistent intervals of platinum-group-metal, nickel, and copper sulfide mineralisation, with some individual drill holes ending within mineralised zones, indicating the full thickness is yet to be fully delineated.

Operational activity remains robust, with five drill rigs currently active on site. The team is balancing ongoing infill drilling with deeper programs designed to define the full down-dip extent of the sulfide system. Additionally, extensional drilling will continue testing strike continuity beyond the currently defined limits, supported by active ground and downhole electromagnetic surveys aimed at identifying further massive sulfide targets.
