Terrain Minerals Limited has identified seven new high-priority gold drill targets at its 100% owned Smokebush Project, located 350 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia, following interpretation and inversion modelling of a dipole-dipole induced polarisation survey.

The survey defined the strongest chargeable anomaly immediately north of the Monza structure on Line 6774700N, returning amplitudes greater than four times background from a discrete source with an interpreted steep easterly dip and a coincident resistivity low. Newexco Exploration Pty Ltd assessed the response as the best-constrained chargeable anomaly from the program, matching amplitudes recorded over high-grade gold results at the Monza structure.

Terrain also defined a previously untested north-south structure approximately 1,500 metres west of the Lightning deposit over multiple lines. The program designed 45 holes across the priority targets within granted Mining Lease M59/0796, with 32 holes currently ranked as moderate to low priority.

The new target inventory will form the exploration portion of Terrain's upcoming reverse circulation drilling campaign, which will focus on capturing mineralisation sitting outside the existing resource and testing strike extensions. Terrain will advise the market of the drilling timetable closer to the commencement date.

Terrain noted that chargeability anomalies at Smokebush are generated by both disseminated sulphides and magnetite, with dipole-dipole IP unable to distinguish between them. Consequently, target ranking relies on the coincidence of chargeable responses with interpreted structures, surface geochemistry, and known mineralisation rather than amplitude alone.
