Tesoro Gold Limited has received the final assay results from its 80-hole infill drilling programme at the Ternera Gold Deposit, part of the El Zorro Gold Project in Chile.

The 27,162-metre infill drilling campaign has now concluded, with the final 17 holes returning multiple thick, high-grade gold intercepts. Standout results include hole ZDDH0475, which returned 101.00 metres at 1.12 g/t gold from 320.00 metres, including 8.35 metres at 3.50 g/t gold from 323.65 metres and 20.00 metres at 2.37 g/t gold from 367.00 metres.

Additional notable intercepts include hole ZDDH0464, which intersected 96.40 metres at 0.86 g/t gold from 351.00 metres, including 37.54 metres at 1.50 g/t gold from 409.06 metres, and hole ZDDH0466, which returned 60.50 metres at 1.01 g/t gold from 197.00 metres.

All holes intercepted zones of gold mineralisation at predicted downhole locations, supporting the geological interpretation of the deposit. The Ternera Gold Deposit previously hosted a Mineral Resource Estimate of 1.82 million ounces in June 2026.

Tesoro will now incorporate the final assay results into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Ternera. The upgraded resource model will support the declaration of a maiden Ore Reserve and advance Definitive Feasibility Study-level mine planning.

Drilling activity has now shifted from resource definition to growth. Three diamond drill rigs are currently active with extensional drilling targeting near-deposit resource growth within one kilometre of the current pit shell, particularly at Ternera East.

In parallel, the company has completed a maiden diamond drilling programme at the La Brea target, situated approximately 15 kilometres north of Ternera within the broader El Zorro property. District-scale new discovery drilling is scheduled to commence at La Brea in the coming weeks.

Commenting on the transition, Managing Director Zeff Reeves said:

“Our drilling focus is now firmly shifting from resource definition to growth. Three diamond drill rigs are currently testing extensions around Ternera before district-scale, new-discovery drilling commences at La Brea and progresses across the broader, highly prospective, 40km long gold corridor.”

The upcoming campaign aims to test the wider potential across El Zorro's broader land package.
