TG Metals Limited is mobilising an aircore drill rig to the Van Uden Gold Project in Western Australia to test laterite-hosted gold extensional targets across a planned 689 vertical drillholes totalling approximately 4,150 metres.

The company holds an 80% interest in the project, which contains past-producing gold mines. The current laterite resource at Van Uden stands at 1 million tonnes grading 0.52 grams per tonne for 17,700 ounces of gold, backed by recent testing that delivered recoveries exceeding 90% through simple heap leaching.

An earlier resource extension drilling program at the asset comprised 41 shallow drillholes for approximately 2,800 metres. The current aircore campaign scales up substantially to test gold-bearing laterite identified through recent auger drilling over a footprint similar in size to the existing resource area.

TG Metals secured A$2.5 million through a share placement in August 2026 to fund the expansion of Van Uden gold mineral resources and scoping study development. The company is currently finalising a scoping study to outline the financial metrics for the heap leach opportunity and is advancing a definitive ore purchase and profit share agreement.

“With the Scoping Study on the Van Uden heap leach being finalised, this next phase of drilling will aim to substantially increase the laterite resource and expand the life of the proposed heap leach. Combining on-site heap leach processing with off-site Ore Purchase agreements for the bulk of the defined resource, will enable the Company to realise the full potential of the Van Uden gold project whilst deploying low capital expenditure development.”

Drilling results will feed directly into an updated mineral resource estimate, with the program designed to potentially double the current laterite resource base.
