Thunder Gold Corp. (TGOL) has secured CDN$1,085,416 in fresh capital following the exercise of over 10 million share purchase warrants and additional broker options. These securities originated from a private placement completed in January 2025. The company intends to deploy the proceeds to advance exploration efforts at its flagship Tower Mountain gold property located near Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Management emphasized that the influx of capital strengthens the corporate balance sheet as the company gears up for a targeted technical work program. The primary objective of the upcoming field activity is to upgrade the geological confidence of the project by converting existing Inferred Resources into the higher-confidence Indicated category.

"I am very pleased at the continued support and confidence shown from our long-term shareholders. The warrant exercises further strengthen our balance sheet as we continue to focus on demonstrating the tremendous potential at Tower Mountain." — Wes Hanson, President and CEO

The company is preparing to launch a resource definition drill program scheduled for the week of August 4, 2026. This technical initiative is expected to run through September and provide the necessary data for a subsequent updated mineral resource estimate. By focusing on systematic drilling, the company aims to enhance the technical robustness of the property, which is situated within the broader Shebandowan Greenstone Belt.

Beyond the immediate project-specific plans, the company continues to execute a broader consolidation strategy in the district. This corporate approach has recently included the targeted acquisition of the Electra and Thunder Lake properties, signaling an effort to expand its footprint in the region. These activities remain central to the company’s internal goal of unlocking the scale and economic potential of its holdings. The upcoming drill program serves as a critical milestone in this ongoing effort to demonstrate the viability and quality of the project, which is being positioned to support long-life operations. By maintaining a disciplined approach to capital allocation and technical development, the company continues its focus on project advancement through the second half of the year.
