Thunder Gold Corp. has returned diamond drill results from the Bench Target at its flagship Tower Mountain Property in Ontario, highlighted by an extension hole intersecting 228.5 metres averaging 0.557 g/t gold.

The latest assay comes from hole TM21-107X, which represents an extension of hole TM21-107 after it terminated in mineralization during 2021. Combined, the two intervals total 340.4 metres averaging 0.530 g/t gold. The drilling program targeted an Inferred Resource block within the optimized pit limit of the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate with the objective of upgrading the material to the Indicated Resource classification.

Thunder Gold holds a 100% interest in the 7,625-hectare property, located 40 kilometres west of Thunder Bay.

“TM21-107/107X is our second infill hole targeting the estimated inferred resources at the Bench Target. It establishes the eastern margin of the core mineralization which is currently drill traced over an area of 75,000 to 100,000 square metres to depths of up to 600 metres from surface. Mineralization remains open at depth and grades appear to be increasing at depth. TM21-107X returned average grade 60% higher than TM21-107 over essentially the same downhole interval length. Based on the results of TM26-210 and TM21-107/107X we are adjusting our infill drill program to follow up on these latest drill hole results and maximize the conversion of inferred resources to the indicated resource classification. We continue to operate two drills on a 24/7 basis and anticipate completion of the planned infill drilling by the end of September as planned.”

True width cannot currently be estimated for the combined interval because the hole did not completely transect the entirety of the drill target.

The company continues to operate two drill rigs on a continuous basis and anticipates completing the infill drilling program by the end of September 2026. An updated mineral resource estimate is expected to follow the completion of the program.
