Tivan Limited has commenced a large-scale regional unmanned aerial vehicle drone magnetic survey covering approximately 57 square kilometres across priority target zones within the Turiscai and Baucau copper-gold projects in Timor-Leste.

The survey comprises approximately 1,511 line-kilometres flown at a nominal 50-metre terrain-following altitude on 50-metre line spacing with 200-metre tie lines. It is designed to capture high-definition magnetic, LiDAR, and photogrammetric data to enhance geological and structural understanding and refine targets for upcoming drilling.

PT Geologi Eksplorasi Indonesia is executing the survey in collaboration with Intrepid Geophysics, with in-country activities managed by TimorRai Exploration Service to support local participation in the exploration programs.

Tivan is exploring for copper and gold mineralisation at the projects, including porphyry and volcanogenic massive sulphide style deposits. Previous surface sampling by the company's in-country geology team returned rock chip assays grading up to 23.1% copper and 7.19 grams per tonne gold at Turiscai, and up to 0.76% copper and 9.3 grams per tonne gold at Baucau.

Following completion of the aerial survey, the company will conduct specialist processing and interpretation of the magnetic data. Tivan will then integrate these findings with existing geological mapping, surface geochemistry, and regional geophysical datasets to refine drilling targets.
