TNR Gold Corp. has commenced its 2026 field exploration program at the Shotgun Gold Project in southwestern Alaska.

The current campaign at the Shotgun and Winchester prospects follows up on 2022 work. It investigates historical geochemical anomalies from 1998 soil surveys alongside geophysical targets indicated by 2011 and 2012 induced polarization surveys.

TNR Gold holds a 90% interest in the Shotgun Gold Project, located 190 kilometres south of the Donlin Gold Project within the Kuskokwim Gold Belt. The property targets a porphyry-style gold system at Shotgun Ridge, where repeating fault-controlled structures provide targets for future drill testing.

“The Company's strategy with the Shotgun Gold Project is to attract a partnership with a major gold mining company. TNR Gold has successfully consolidated and updated its mining claims in Alaska and is actively introducing the project to interested parties,” commented Kirill Klip, TNR Gold Chief Executive Officer. “This exploration program will allow us to comply with the listing requirements, our work commitments in Alaska to maintain the mining claims in good standing, and to provide additional information in TNR's Shotgun Gold data room for our potential strategic partners.”
