Tocvan Ventures Corp. has intersected 215 metres grading 0.6 g/t gold from 36.6 metres downhole at its Gran Pilar project in Sonora, Mexico. The result, returned from hole JES-26-155, is located along the 1.2-kilometre El Mezquite trend, approximately 1,900 metres from the company’s planned pilot production facility.

The intersection comprises an upper zone of 86.9 metres at 0.6 g/t gold and a lower zone of 70.2 metres at 0.9 g/t gold, separated by a zone of anomalous mineralization. Within these intervals, the company encountered high-grade shoots, including 1.5 metres at 16.0 g/t gold and 57 g/t silver.

“This intersection starting near surface is one of the best holes drilled on the Gran Pilar project to date,”

“Hole JES-26-155 stands out as one of the strongest intercepts we have seen on the project. The combination of near-surface mineralization, substantial widths, and high-grade shoots within a broader envelope of consistent gold-silver values highlights the scale and continuity of the El Mezquite trend.”

Geological logs for the hole describe a vertically extensive, silicified hydrothermal breccia system that exhibits increasing indicators of zinc and lead at depth. The company reports that the system appears to strengthen toward the bottom of the hole, making the deeper section a target for follow-up work.

The company has drilled 10,098 metres so far this year, with results pending for an additional 5,521 metres.

The stock is currently up 1.39% at $0.73 on August 6, 2026. The share price rose in the session following the announcement of the discovery.
