Tocvan Ventures Corp. has intersected 81.1 metres grading 0.48 g/t gold and 3.3 g/t silver from 13.5 metres downhole at the El Mezquite trend within its 100%-owned Gran Pilar project in Sonora, Mexico.

Drill hole JES-26-172, drilled across the discovery corridor, included a 47.7-metre interval grading 0.80 g/t gold and 5.0 g/t silver, alongside a high-grade core of 2.75 metres at 8.44 g/t gold and 54.0 g/t silver. Step-out hole JES-26-169 extended known mineralization approximately 100 metres further north. The results support a continuous corridor traced over roughly 1,400 metres, situated 1.6 to 1.9 kilometres east of the Main Zone and the planned pilot facility, with existing road access. Reported intervals represent drilled widths, with true widths estimated at 60% to 80% of those lengths.

“JES-26-172 is the confirmation hole we wanted,” said Chris Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of Tocvan. “Eighty-one metres of mineralization starting 13.5 metres downhole, a 47.7-metre interval at 0.8 g/t gold, and 2.8 metres of 8.4 g/t gold with 54 g/t silver - that is a near-surface, drill-ready system sitting less than two kilometres from our permitted pilot plant. El Mezquite now has width, grade, strike, and infrastructure. That is how Gran Pilar moves from explorer to near-term producer.”

Tocvan holds a long-term community agreement at Gran Pilar that grants surface access and permission for exploration and pilot-production activities across the area.

The company is advancing its permitted 50,000-tonne heap-leach pilot facility, targeting first gold-silver doré in the fourth quarter of 2026. In parallel, Tocvan awaits assay results for 3,883 pending metres from the 11,865 metres drilled during its 2026 program at the project. Regional exploration activity in Sonora includes step-out drilling results reported by Axo Metals Corp. at its San Antonio gold project.
