Tocvan Intersects 247 Metres of Anomalous Gold at Gran Pilar
Tocvan Ventures Corp. has intersected 247.05 metres of anomalous gold and silver mineralization from surface at the El Mezquite trend within its 100%-owned Gran Pilar project in Sonora, Mexico.
Drill hole JES-26-162 returned the interval grading 0.10 g/t gold and 2.61 g/t silver from surface, adding to recent exploration success along the 1,300-metre mineralized corridor. The current round of reporting includes nine reverse-circulation holes and one core hole, building upon previous drilling that established a broad low-grade envelope enclosing discrete higher-grade shoots.

The El Mezquite trend sits roughly 1.6 to 1.9 kilometres east of the Main Zone and the company’s planned heap-leach pilot facility, benefiting from existing road access. Tocvan holds a 100% interest in over 22 square kilometres of prospective ground across the project, bolstered by a land acquisition completed in 2023.
Additional results from the corridor included northern step-out hole JES-26-163, which intersected multiple zones over more than 160 metres of hole length, including 23.15 metres grading 0.17 g/t gold and 5.96 g/t silver from surface. Hole JES-26-156 returned a broader envelope of 83.88 metres grading 0.11 g/t gold and 0.95 g/t silver starting from 10.68 metres downhole. Reported intervals represent drilled widths, with true widths estimated between 60% and 80% of the drilled measurements.
“These results confirm that El Mezquite is not a one-hole story,” said Chris Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of Tocvan. “A 247-metre anomalous gold interval in JES-26-162, together with the 215-metre discovery in JES-26-155, demonstrates continuity along a 1.3-kilometre trend sitting less than two kilometres from our planned pilot facility. That combination of scale, proximity to infrastructure, and a clear path to first production is exactly what we want to see as Gran Pilar advances from explorer to near-term producer.” — Chris Gordon, Chief Executive Officer
Tocvan has completed 11,276 metres of drilling during its current campaign, with assay results remaining pending for 4,511 metres. The company is advancing the permitted 50,000-tonne pilot production facility toward first gold-silver doré output targeted in the fourth quarter of 2026, while utilizing the latest data to prioritize follow-up reverse-circulation and core holes along the strike and down-dip extensions of the El Mezquite trend.
