TomaGold Confirms Lateral Continuity of the Berrigan Deep Zone with New Drill Results

TomaGold Corporation (TSXV: LOT) has released assay results from the extension of drill hole TOM-25-009 at its Berrigan Mine project in the Chibougamau Mining Camp, Québec. The hole, designated TOM-25-009EXT, was extended to a final depth of 621 metres to test the upper section of a conductive plate identified through geological modeling. The results successfully intercepted a polymetallic system characterized by zinc, gold, silver, and copper, including a notable interval of 29.90 metres grading 2.24% ZnEq.

This latest intersection fills a strategic gap between the project's discovery hole, TOM-25-015, which previously returned 98.5 metres at 5.08% ZnEq, and the recently reported TOM-25-011EXT. By connecting these points, the company has confirmed the lateral continuity of the Berrigan Deep zone over a strike length exceeding 250 metres. The lithology encountered consists of altered pyroxenites and peridotites hosting sulphide mineralization—specifically pyrrhotite, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite—associated with high-temperature quartz and carbonate veining.

Following the initial discovery in drill hole TOM-25-015 and the extensive 204-metre mineralized envelope recently reported in drill hole TOM-25-011EXT, this latest hole demonstrates that the upper portion of the conductive plate is also strongly mineralized. These results confirm the excellent vertical and lateral continuity of the Berrigan Deep zone, which now extends over more than 250 metres in length. The consistent presence of robust grades further strengthens our confidence in the continuity of this structure at depth and in the large-scale growth potential of the Berrigan Project."

The exploration program remains active, with the company currently awaiting assay results for three additional extension holes: TOM-25-010EXT, TOM-25-012EXT, and TOM-25-013EXT. Mineralization has been visually observed in the core samples from all three holes, maintaining the consistency seen in previous phases of the Berrigan Mine drilling. Looking ahead, the company plans to integrate these new data points into its ongoing geophysical interpretation to refine its understanding of the district’s structural architecture. This continued geological modeling is expected to play a critical role in prioritizing future drill targets as the company moves to further evaluate the large-scale potential of the hydrothermal system at depth.

As the company continues to process pending assays and advance its geophysical interpretation, the focus remains on testing the depth extent of the known conductive plates.
