TomaGold Intersects 204.25 Metres at 2.05% ZnEq in Berrigan Deep Extension Drilling
TomaGold Corporation reported assay results from its Phase 2 extension drilling program at the Berrigan Mine project in northern Québec, highlighted by extension hole TOM-25-011EXT returning a 204.25-metre mineralized intersection grading 2.05% zinc equivalent (ZnEq), including 31.31% ZnEq over 2.40 metres to confirm the vertical continuity of the Berrigan Deep zone.
Extension hole TOM-25-009EXT subsequently intersected multiple zinc-, gold-, silver- and copper-rich zones between 389.35 metres and 530.35 metres, including 29.90 metres grading 2.24% ZnEq. This intercept closed a strategic gap between the discovery hole and TOM-25-011EXT, confirming lateral continuity of the Berrigan Deep zone over more than 250 metres.
With TOM-25-009EXT and TOM-25-011EXT reported, TomaGold expects to receive and disclose assay results for the remaining three Phase 2 extension drill holes over the coming weeks. Consistent visual mineralization was logged across all five extension holes, and core from the remaining three holes has been shipped to the laboratory for analysis.
In parallel with its drilling program, TomaGold has deployed a comprehensive suite of geophysical surveys across the Berrigan Mine project and surrounding Chibougamau claims, including an Audio-frequency Magnetotelluric survey, a UTEM surface time-domain electromagnetic survey, and Borehole Electromagnetic surveys. All geophysical reports are currently pending.
The company has also conducted regional geochemical sampling programs across its consolidated land package, collecting 936 rock grab samples, 538 soil samples, and 735 tree bark samples for biogeochemical analysis. Results for these programs are pending.
TomaGold's core assets are centered in the Chibougamau Mining Camp of northern Québec, where the company owns the Obalski gold-copper-silver project alongside options on twelve additional properties, including the Berrigan Mine project.
“TomaGold has never had more irons in the fire, and that is exactly where we want to be. Our Phase 2 extension program at Berrigan Mine has already confirmed more than 250 metres of continuity within the Berrigan Deep zone, and we still have three more holes to report.”
