Toogood Gold Corp. (TSXV: TGC) has expanded its footprint at the Table Mountain project in Lincoln County, Nevada, by staking 44 additional Bureau of Land Management lode claims. This strategic land acquisition increases the project size to 228 claims, covering approximately 1,902 hectares. The move follows a period of rapid consolidation for the developer, which has significantly grown its project scale since the initial letter of intent in March 2026, when the site was contemplated as an undrilled 4km by 2km alteration cell.

The expansion secures more than 10 kilometres of cumulative interpreted strike length along the Widowmaker Trend and a subparallel structural corridor. The company believes this additional ground is critical for defining the scale and structural framework of the low-sulphidation epithermal system identified on the property. Following this land acquisition, Toogood Gold has already completed reconnaissance soil geochemistry across the new claims, with 166 samples collected for integration into its existing geophysical and geological datasets.

"This claim expansion is a strategic and timely step as we continue to define the scale, alteration footprint and structural framework of the low-sulphidation epithermal system at Table Mountain."

— Colin Smith, CEO of Toogood Gold Corp.

With the first phase of field work now behind it, the company is transitioning to Phase 2 exploration in July. This next stage includes approximately 20 line-kilometres of controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) surveying, which is designed to map subsurface resistivity contrasts and identify potential hydrothermal fluid pathways. Furthermore, targeted prospecting and rock sampling are scheduled across these new high-priority corridors to refine maiden drill targets. The company maintains a focus on undrilled, low-sulphidation epithermal systems, with Table Mountain serving as the flagship asset in its Nevada portfolio.

The market responded positively to the land expansion and the commencement of the Phase 2 program. The company's shares closed at $0.125 on July 20, 2026, reflecting an 8.70% rise in the session. This development marks a clear progression from the definitive option agreement executed in May, which initiated the current systematic exploration efforts at the project. As the company moves to interpret the data from its ongoing CSAMT survey and geochemical programs, the expanded claim package provides the necessary spatial context for broader infrastructure planning and exploration staging.

Toogood Gold continues to advance its dual-focus strategy, balancing the Nevada-based epithermal targets at Table Mountain with its district-scale gold exploration in Newfoundland. By securing the extensions of key structural trends before the implementation of advanced geophysical surveys, management aims to tighten the focus of its forthcoming drilling programs. The project, which has been subject to systematic property-wide soil sampling and gravity surveys throughout the summer, now represents a more comprehensive exploration area as the technical team prepares to interpret the sub-surface potential of the newly acquired land. Future updates are expected to integrate these new findings into the project’s comprehensive geological model.
