Toubani Hits 28m at 8.86 g/t Gold at Foroko
Toubani Resources Inc. has intersected bonanza-grade gold mineralisation, including 28 metres at 8.86 grams per tonne gold from 188 metres with a 3-metre section at 61.2 grams per tonne, at the Foroko deposit within the Kobada Gold Project in southern Mali.

The results form part of a 19,138-metre, 108-hole reverse circulation drilling program designed to infill historical data and test extensions across a 2.5-kilometre strike length at Foroko. Additional significant intercepts include 12 metres at 12.1 grams per tonne gold from 106 metres, featuring a 4-metre interval at 24.9 grams per tonne, and 6 metres at 13.3 grams per tonne gold from 133 metres alongside 10 metres at 10.4 grams per tonne from 177 metres, which included 1 metre at 74.0 grams per tonne.
Foroko is situated 3 kilometres from the Kobada processing plant currently under construction. Toubani broke ground at Kobada in March 2026 following a positive Final Investment Decision, with first gold production scheduled for Q3 2027. The company received the first US$25 million drawdown in August 2026 under a US$160 million gold stream agreement with Eagle Eye Asset Holdings Pte to support construction.
“These are some very impressive results from Foroko, one of our near-plant satellite targets, and appears to clearly define the high grade mineralisation within the deposit. We will look to incorporate Foroko into the forthcoming MRE update where the potential to add ounces to our MRE inventory is promising, while also creating real option value in the next phase of mine planning work.”
— Phil Russo, Managing Director
The latest assay data will be incorporated into an upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate update targeted for early October 2026. Following the resource update, the company intends to revise the Ore Reserve estimate and mine plan during the fourth quarter of 2026 to evaluate Foroko as a potential source of near-surface oxide feed.
