Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. has commenced its maiden diamond drill program at the Coho property in central British Columbia, transitioning the copper-gold porphyry target from surface exploration to active drilling.

The 8,000-hectare property, acquired through an option agreement signed in May 2025 to secure a 100% interest, features the undrilled Coho Zone. The target is defined by a 650-metre by 550-metre surface geochemical anomaly and coincident induced polarization chargeability and resistivity anomalies. Historic surface rock grab samples from the zone have returned values up to 16.15 g/t gold, 16.35% copper, and 67.3 g/t silver.

The company previously mobilized a field team in June 2026 to conduct ground-truthing and surface reconnaissance following the receipt of a five-year exploration permit in January 2026 authorizing diamond drilling from up to 50 drill pads. Under the terms of the acquisition, Trailbreaker is required to make a $35,000 option payment on or before May 20, 2027.

“Mobilization to Coho marks an important step forward for Trailbreaker as we move from surface exploration into the drilling phase. Coho has shown strong potential across multiple targets, and we are eager to put the drill bit into the ground and start generating the data that will define this system.”

— Daithi Mac Gearailt, CEO

Drilling at the Coho Zone follows earlier surface exploration programs conducted along the property's western boundary at the Masu Zone.
