Trek Metals Plans Phase 2 Drilling at Kuro Manganese Discovery

Trek Metals Limited has completed pre-drilling earthworks and is preparing to launch a ~2,500-metre Phase 2 reverse circulation drilling program at the Kuro manganese discovery within its 100%-owned Christmas Creek Project in Western Australia.
The upcoming campaign targets immediate extensions of the mineralised system following an extended Induced Polarisation survey across the greater Kuro region. Trek integrated these new chargeability and conductivity datasets with gravity surveys, using the main Kuro mineralised zone as a geophysical analogue to define multiple high-priority targets.
The exploration push builds on the company's maiden reverse circulation drilling program at Kuro, which returned high-grade assays including 10 metres at 42.3% manganese from 13 metres. Earthworks for the new phase of drilling were completed under the supervision of the Yi-Martuwarra Ngurrara Traditional Owners on heritage-cleared ground.

Alongside the Kuro preparation, Trek is advancing parallel exploration across the broader project area. Work includes an Exploration Incentive Scheme co-funded Sub-Audio Magnetics survey at the Martin gold prospect, regional drilling testing soil anomalies, and active drilling at the Coogan copper-gold prospect to test chargeability anomalies beneath historical sulphide-bearing drilling.
