Trident Resources Corp. has intersected high-grade gold mineralization at its Contact Lake Gold Project in Northern Saskatchewan, returning 8.69 g/t gold over 11.97 metres from a depth of 613.03 metres in drillhole CL26050.

The primary high-grade intercept in hole CL26050 was encountered 220 vertical metres below the lowest historical mine workings in the Main Zone, marking the company’s first deep test below the Main Zone in the current summer campaign. The interval includes a higher-grade core of 31.98 g/t gold over 3.16 metres from 617.74 metres downhole.

Drillholes CL26049 and CL26051 tested the shallower Buffer Zone, an area with low drill density located between the BK1 and BK3 zones where the Bakos Shear Zone intersects a separate north-trending shear structure. Hole CL26049 returned 3.46 g/t gold over 15.00 metres from 288.00 metres depth, including 3.91 g/t gold over 13.00 metres from 290.00 metres. Hole CL26051 intersected multiple zones, including 6.43 g/t gold over 7.45 metres from 209.45 metres, 6.12 g/t gold over 5.03 metres from 244.97 metres, and 3.45 g/t gold over 13.42 metres from 282.55 metres.

The ongoing summer drill program has completed 17 drillholes totaling 12,066 metres of an anticipated 20,000-metre program, leaving approximately 8,000 metres remaining. Trident expects to receive assay results from the balance of the program through the fourth quarter of 2026 and into the first quarter of 2027.

The Contact Lake Gold Project covers approximately 22,790 hectares and encompasses the past-producing Contact Lake mine, which yielded approximately 190,000 ounces of gold at an average head grade of 6.16 g/t Au between 1994 and 1998. Trident wholly owns the Contact Lake, Preview SW, Preview North, and North Lake deposits, along with the Greywacke North deposit located 40 kilometres northeast of Contact Lake.
