Trifecta Gold Ltd. has completed its 2026 diamond drill campaign at the Rye Project in Yukon, finishing six holes totaling 1,852 metres across five locations. The work follows an inaugural six-hole diamond drilling program totaling 1,992 metres completed by Trifecta at the site in 2025.

The 2026 program targeted zones of sheeted quartz veining and a steep, west-dipping structure known as the Empire Fault, which extends along a 1.5-kilometre strike length. Individual holes tested various structural settings, including down-dip extensions of previous intercepts, fault-controlled breccias containing scheelite and bismuthinite, and margins of the Itsi Pluton. Trifecta expects assay results from the 1,852-metre drill program in early October 2026.

Concurrently, the company advanced surface exploration across two other targets within its broader portfolio where it is earning a 100% interest: the Liam and Lois projects. Prospecting and mapping at Liam identified additional sheeted quartz veining within biotite granodiorite stocks, complementing multi-element soil anomalies and historical rock samples carrying gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc and antimony.

At Lois, field crews used support from a Yukon Mineral Exploration Program incentive grant to identify several new skarn horizons up to two metres wide, along with abundant quartz-tourmaline-arsenopyrite breccia. These zones feature semi-massive pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization. Analytical results from surface sampling across both the Liam and Lois projects will be announced once received and interpreted by the technical team.
