Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TSX-V: TG) has expanded its exploration reach within the Tombstone Gold Belt, formally introducing the Liam and Lois projects in east-central Yukon. These properties are part of a broader portfolio where the company is earning a 100% interest through an agreement with Strategic Metals Ltd. The company is currently targeting eleven distinct sites across the belt, positioning these new assets within a wider strategy focused on Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems. The projects sit roughly 100 km north of the Faro community and are situated within the structural hanging wall of the Robert Service Thrust Fault.

Both projects cover mid-Cretaceous plutons, which act as the primary mineralizers for gold in this geological environment. The Liam project exhibits significant surface geochemical anomalies, including three precious metal-enriched zones. The Central Trend has yielded peak gold-in-soil values of 574 ppb over a 2 km strike length, which remains open in both directions. Mineralization identified at the surface includes the Neeson and Gallagher showings, which contain arsenopyrite-bearing quartz veins and skarn in local metasedimentary rocks.

The Lois project features two primary soil anomalies, with peak gold-in-soil values reaching 873 ppb. The company’s 2026 exploration program for this site will focus on soil geochemical sampling, geological mapping, and prospecting. These efforts are designed to expand the known anomalies and push the project closer to being drill-ready. To support this work, Trifecta has secured a Yukon Mineral Exploration Program grant, which will cover 50% of eligible expenditures for the Lois project, up to a maximum of $34,180.

Regulatory approval has been finalized for both sites, with the Yukon Government granting a Quartz Class 1 Notification. This permit provides the necessary clearance to conduct a variety of exploration techniques, including diamond drilling, should the company determine it is appropriate. These developments follow the company's recent success in securing a ten-year exploration permit for its separate Rye property earlier in July 2026. By integrating these new assets, the company continues its systematic approach to exploring the Tombstone Gold Belt, which has seen substantial gold discovery activity since 2020.

Beyond the project updates, Trifecta announced the grant of 1,560,000 incentive stock options to its directors, officers, and consultants. These options carry an exercise price of $0.20 per share and are exercisable over a five-year period. The options are set to vest on a quarterly basis, with the vesting schedule beginning three months after the date of the grant. This move aligns with the company's established corporate practices for incentivizing its leadership and advisory team as it pursues its technical programs across its Yukon holdings. Technical information related to the current exploration results has been verified by the company’s Vice President, Jackson Morton, P.Geo., in accordance with industry standards.
