TRU Precious Metals Discovers Two Gold-in-Soil Anomalies at Golden Rose

TRU Precious Metals Corp. has uncovered two previously unrecognized gold-in-soil anomalies at the Wood Lake gold zone during its 2026 field program at the Golden Rose Project in Central Newfoundland.
The exploration work identified a 900-metre by 450-metre anomaly east of Wood Lake, situated between the historical Sure Shot and Hill Top showings. A second target, measuring 450 metres by 450 metres, was identified to the southwest of Wood Lake. Surface trenching is currently underway to investigate the eastern anomaly, while follow-up work for the southwestern target is under review.
The southwestern anomaly is located mostly within licenses held in a joint venture where TRU holds a 51% interest alongside Quadro Resources Ltd. Prompted by the mineralization potential near the interpreted surface trace of the Valentine Lake Shear Zone, TRU has staked an additional 394 claims along the southern boundary of the Golden Rose licenses.
The soil sampling program comprised 865 samples collected using a conventional hand auger targeting the B horizon at depths between 20 and 50 centimetres. TRU considers individual assay values of 10 parts per billion gold or greater as anomalous. The company noted that the soil sampling represents preliminary exploration work that is not conclusive evidence of a mineral deposit and will not support mineral resource estimation or mining studies.
“The Company's focus remains on efficiently discovering the full gold and copper potential across the entire Golden Rose Property aiming to identify multiple mineralized zones leading to economic scale. In this light, the identification early in the season of two new extensive and coherent areas of anomalous gold-in-soil is most encouraging with follow-up works having already begun aimed at providing valuable additional information on the potential for these areas of anomalous gold-in-soils to indicate underlying mineralisation.”

The Golden Rose Project serves as TRU's flagship asset, encompassing a regional land package along the Cape Ray-Valentine Lake Shear Zones. The project is subject to an earn-in agreement with Eldorado Gold Corporation, under which Eldorado holds an option to fund CAD15.25 million in cash payments and exploration expenditures over five years to acquire an 80% interest. TRU plans to commence drilling at the project during the second half of the 2026 field season.
