True North Copper has identified a production target of 53,000 gold-equivalent ounces at its Wynberg gold-copper project, according to a newly released scoping study.

The study estimates the project could generate pre-tax cash flow between $53 million and $87 million. True North bases this production target on 0.87 million tonnes of Measured and Indicated resources. The project is situated 25 km from the company's Cloncurry operation and already holds the necessary mining leases and environmental approvals required for potential development.

The company is evaluating multiple paths for the asset, including standalone mining, third-party toll treatment, or integration into the broader Cloncurry Copper Project.

“Our strategy is clear: grow the district-scale potential of Mt Oxide while advancing the Cloncurry Copper Project towards development through disciplined focus on optimising development options and maximising project value.”

“Wynberg Gold-Copper adds another low-capital development opportunity with multiple pathways to unlock value, including standalone development, regional processing and integration with the Cloncurry Copper Project.”

— Andrew Mooney, Managing Director

True North expects to complete a pre-feasibility study and a potential ore reserve for the Cloncurry Copper Project in late 2026. Meanwhile, the company continues its exploration program at the Mt Oxide project, with further drilling results and regional updates anticipated over the coming months.
