TRX Gold Corporation delivered record quarterly gold production of 8,173 ounces in Q4 2026, up 28% from 6,404 ounces in Q4 2025. The strong finish pushed fiscal 2026 annual production to a record 29,650 ounces—a 57% increase over fiscal 2025—hitting the top end of the company's 25,000 to 30,000-ounce guidance range.

Operations at the Buckreef Gold Project in Tanzania benefited from an average realized gold price of approximately $4,233 per ounce in Q4 and $4,386 per ounce for the full year, alongside ongoing upgrades to the 2,000 tonnes per day processing plant, including a pre-leach thickener, Aachen reactor, oxygen plant, ADR plant, and new tertiary crusher.

To support future growth, TRX Gold executed a contract in early Q4 2026 for a new 3,500 tonnes per day SAG and Ball mill circuit. Completion is expected within 12 to 18 months, operating alongside the existing plant to exceed the processing capacity and gold production originally anticipated in the preliminary economic assessment.

Exploration also ramped up, with Buckreef Gold completing approximately 14,500 metres across 175 drill holes during fiscal 2026. The company added new drill rigs to accelerate greenfield exploration at targets including Stamford Bridge and the Anfield Zone.

“We are very pleased to have delivered record quarterly and annual gold production in fiscal 2026, achieving the top end of our production guidance while continuing to improve the performance and reliability of our processing plant,” said Stephen Mullowney, CEO. “With a strong balance sheet and a clear path to increased production, we are well positioned to execute on our growth plans and create long-term value for our shareholders.”

Expansion work and ongoing drilling at Buckreef Gold are funded through operating cash flow.
