U.S. GoldMining Inc. has received a $25 million funding authorization from the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority for pre-construction work on the proposed West Susitna Access Project, which will connect the Whistler Gold-Copper Project directly to regional infrastructure in the Anchorage area.

The authorized funding will finance geotechnical drilling, permitting, hydrologic, and engineering work across the 2026 and 2027 field seasons. The program is designed to provide gating data required for final road design elements, including bridge foundation design for major crossings such as the Skwentna River, material site development, culvert sizing, and road alignment refinement.

The infrastructure initiative comprises a 22-mile public road led by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and a 78.5-mile public-private road led by AIDEA, terminating at the company’s exploration camp near the Whistler deposit.

U.S. GoldMining advances the Whistler project as its flagship asset within a 53,700-acre property package in Alaska. Alongside the infrastructure development, the company recently completed an 11-hole diamond core drilling program totaling over 5,000 meters across eight targets within the Whistler Orbit area, with initial assay results anticipated in the coming weeks.
