United States Antimony Corporation (UAMY) has officially moved into the wet commissioning phase at its critical mineral flotation mill in Radersburg, Montana. The company marked the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, attended by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte. This facility serves as a midstream processing hub, designed to upgrade raw antimony ore into high-grade concentrate suitable for final smelting operations.

The company invested approximately $4.75 million to acquire the facility earlier this year, followed by $2 million in equipment upgrades and refurbishments. An additional $1 million was dedicated to constructing an on-site laboratory featuring X-ray fluorescence, fire assay, and wet chemistry capabilities. This investment is central to the firm's vertical integration strategy, allowing it to bypass third-party mills and secure a domestic supply chain for its $245 million sole-source Department of War contract.

Management expects to achieve full laboratory commissioning and commence concentrate production by mid-July 2026. The facility will initially process 800 tons of antimony ore extracted from the company's Stibnite Hill operations in Thompson Falls.

Looking ahead, the company is seeking to expand its processing capabilities beyond current grade and impurity limits. It has a pending application with the U.S. Department of Energy for a $44 million hydrometallurgical refinery at the Radersburg site, which could significantly increase future production volumes of critical minerals.
