The company finished approximately 5,180 metres across 19 diamond drill holes, surpassing the 4,000 metres originally planned. The expanded program tested extensions of known mineralization and evaluated high-priority targets, including the Kena Copper-Gold Zone, Kena Gold Zone, Gold Mountain Zone, and South Gold Zone. Core logging and sampling are underway, with assay results to be released upon receipt and interpretation.

“Completion of the drill program marks another key execution milestone for Upside,” said Sophy Cesar, CEO and Director of Upside Gold. “We set out to complete approximately 4,000 metres of drilling this year, and the team’s efficient execution in the field allowed us to progress ahead of our planned schedule and expand the program well beyond the initial scope.”

The completed drilling builds on portfolio additions secured earlier in the year. In May 2026, Upside finalized the acquisition of seven mineral claims covering approximately 273 hectares on the northwest side of the property, incorporating historical high-grade production areas from the former Venus-Juno Group.

The new drill data will be combined with a 1,002-metre program completed in 2025 and other drilling undertaken since the project's last resource estimate. Moose Mountain Technical Services, under the direction of Sue Bird, has been engaged to prepare an updated National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource estimate targeted for delivery in the first quarter of 2027, evaluating copper and silver alongside gold for the first time.

The upcoming evaluation will replace the project's May 2021 historical resource, which comprised an indicated resource of 32.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.544 grams per tonne gold for 561,000 ounces, alongside an inferred resource of 177.5 million tonnes at 0.486 grams per tonne gold for 2.77 million ounces. Exploration work is supported by an exploration permit extended to October 31.
