Upside Gold Corp. has engaged Moose Mountain Technical Services to prepare an updated mineral resource estimate and National Instrument 43-101 technical report for the Kena Gold-Copper Project in southeastern British Columbia, targeting delivery in the first quarter of 2027.

The upcoming estimate replaces the project’s May 2021 historical resource, which comprised an indicated resource of 32.1 million tonnes at 0.544 g/t gold for 561,000 ounces alongside an inferred resource of 177.5 million tonnes at 0.486 g/t gold for 2.77 million ounces.

For the first time, Moose Mountain will evaluate copper and silver alongside gold, incorporating updated metal prices, costs, and metallurgical recoveries. Sue Bird, M.Sc., P.Eng., who directed the 2021 historical estimate for Moose Mountain, will lead the updated modeling.

The new resource model will integrate 1,002 metres of drilling completed in 2025 and data from the company's 2026 diamond drilling program. Upside Gold initially planned 4,000 metres of drilling for the 2026 campaign but has since surpassed that target, completing 4,645 metres with drilling continuing beyond the initial scope.

“Engaging Moose Mountain to undertake the updated resource estimate is a significant milestone for Upside and the Kena Project,” said Sophy Cesar, CEO and Director of Upside Gold. “Since the public filing of the 2021 historical resource estimate, additional drilling has provided us with considerably more information about the Kena system, and our 2026 drill program continues to build on that. Our goal is to grow the gold resource while also evaluating the potential contribution of copper and silver. With drilling continuing and Moose Mountain now engaged to undertake the resource update, we are advancing toward one of the Company’s most important milestones and are excited about what this next phase could reveal about the scale and potential of Kena.”

Data from the expanded 2026 drilling campaign and historical work completed since 2021 will be incorporated into the final resource calculations, subject to validation of assay and quality assurance data.
