Upside Gold Corp. has completed 4,645 metres of diamond drilling at the Kena Gold-Copper Project in southeastern British Columbia, surpassing the 4,000 metres originally planned for its 2026 program.

Drilling will continue beyond the initial scope as the technical team evaluates core and tests extensions to the historical gold resource and high-priority targets, including the Kena Copper-Gold Zone. The work is supported by Mines Act Permit MX-100000131, which has been extended to October 31, 2026.

The expanded 2026 program follows the acquisition of seven mineral claims on May 13, 2026, totaling approximately 273 hectares on the northwest side of the Kena property. Those claims cover historical high-grade production areas from the former Venus-Juno Group.

“The team has made excellent progress at Kena, and we have already exceeded the metres originally planned for this year’s program,” said Sophy Cesar, CEO and Director of Upside Gold. “With our exploration permit extended through the end of October and a strong treasury following our recent financing, we have the flexibility to keep testing priority targets as the program advances. Each additional metre brings us closer to our objective of an updated mineral resource estimate at Kena in 2027.”

Drill core from the ongoing campaign is being logged, sampled and submitted for analysis on an ongoing basis. Results from the 2026 program will be combined with approximately 5,000 metres of historical drilling completed after the 2021 historical resource estimate, alongside ongoing evaluations of historical copper and silver analytical data.

In addition, drill core samples have been submitted for metallurgical testing to assess gold, copper and silver recoveries together from the mineralised material. Upside targets an updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate for the project in 2027.
