Ur-Energy processed and packaged 140,873 pounds of U3O8 during the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, generating $14.4 million in product sales revenue from 215,000 pounds sold under contracted deliveries.

The second-quarter figures represent a 47.4% increase in pounds drummed compared to the 95,599 pounds packaged in the first quarter of 2026, and a 25.7% rise over the 112,033 pounds recorded in the second quarter of 2025. Sales fetched an average price of $66.85 per pound, while the cash cost per pound sold remained low at $40.20, compared to $37.51 in the previous quarter and $42.83 in the prior-year period. Unrestricted cash and cash equivalents totaled $95.3 million at the end of June 2026, up from $57.6 million at June 30, 2025.

At the Shirley Basin operation in central Wyoming, where uranium recovery commenced in April 2026 as a second production and processing hub, Ur-Energy captured 10,634 pounds of U3O8 during the quarter while conducting limited initial operations. In late June 2026, the company received final state regulatory authorization to commence full production operations, including the transportation of uranium-loaded resin to Lost Creek for processing and shipping. The first shipment of resin is expected imminently.

To support ongoing operations at its flagship Lost Creek facility, Ur-Energy installed a sand filtration system during the quarter and broke ground in July on a wastewater treatment facility scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027. Across the wider portfolio, the company expects to complete a technical report including a resource estimate for the Lost Soldier project by year-end 2026.

Following the quarter end, Ur-Energy deferred delivery of 150,000 pounds to 2027 and 150,000 pounds to 2029, while maintaining base delivery expectations of 1.0 million pounds of U3O8 for 2026.
