Further Drilling Targets Identified at the KCP
Belararox Limited (BRX) has identified a series of additional copper exploration targets across its northern tenements in Botswana. New interpretations of geophysical data from the Kalahari Copper Belt project highlight high-quality anomalies, confirming the geological continuity of the prospective Ngwako Pan and D'Kar formation contacts. These contacts are key indicators for copper mineralisation in the region, providing the company with specific focus areas for an upcoming maiden drilling campaign.
The company has officially awarded the drilling contract for the project to Rots Drill Exploration, an affiliate of Major Drilling. This partnership is intended to mitigate operational risks by leveraging the contractor's established technical support and maintenance networks. Management confirmed that the mobilisation of a drilling rig to the site is expected within the next two weeks.
"This further interpretation of the AEM data reinforces to us that we have a large number of high-quality targets to drill test within the KCP. We are now focused on getting the drill rig to site and kicking off our initial drilling program. I look forward to letting our shareholders know when drilling has commenced. Additionally, last week's EGM saw Shareholders approve the Company's name change to Vantage Metals. This represents the start of a new book for the Company, not just a new chapter, with the full reset now complete and an exciting 6 - 12 months ahead for Vantage Metals."
— Will Dix, Chief Executive Officer
Beyond the planned drilling, the company is continuing to advance its surface exploration efforts. Recent ionic soil geochemical sampling across selected portions of the northern tenements is now complete, with laboratory results anticipated in approximately six weeks. This method was specifically chosen to navigate the thick Kalahari sand cover, which often obscures traditional surface geochemical signatures. To further bolster this database, the company is preparing to launch an additional surface geochemistry program, which is scheduled to commence before the end of July.
These combined efforts represent a major push to delineate prospective horizons within the project’s 3,900-square-kilometre land package. As the company prepares to transition into its new corporate identity as Vantage Metals, the focus remains on testing these newly defined targets through systematic drilling and advanced geophysical interpretation. The integration of these technical data sets is designed to refine the geological model for the project as the team moves into the execution phase of its 2026 exploration strategy.
