Verity Resources Limited (ASX: VRL) has identified a promising new gold target at its Monument project in the Laverton Goldfields of Western Australia. Recent soil sampling on the newly acquired Gum Well tenement revealed a coherent gold-in-soil anomaly stretching approximately 1.1km. This discovery is supported by magnetic data and pathfinder elements, including copper and tellurium, which together indicate the potential for an intrusion-related mineralisation system.

"The Gum Well result is exciting for Verity. We have a brand new intrusion-related gold target on a tenement only recently secured, and the convergence of three independent datasets - a geophysical intrusive signature, copper-tellurium pathfinder rock chips, and a 1.1km coherent gold-in-soil anomaly up to 64ppb Au - already defines a compelling, walk-up drill target. Critically, the setting is directly analogous to Genesis Minerals' intrusive-hosted Jupiter (1.5Moz Au) and Cameron Well (0.25Moz Au) deposits in the same district, which demonstrates the scale of target we are chasing. This is an entirely new mineralisation style at Monument and opens an exciting new exploration front on the project." — Patrick Volpe, Director

Beyond the Gum Well discovery, the company’s broader sampling campaign has yielded positive results across other prospects. Infill work at McKenzie Granite and McKenzie Well continues to delineate gold anomalism, with McKenzie Well showing signs of gold along a 2.2km strike length. Additionally, samples from the Korong Syenite prospect returned individual assays up to 264ppb gold, further expanding the company's active exploration footprint.

Verity Resources maintains a pipeline of approximately 60 identified targets across the Monument project. To advance these latest findings, the company intends to conduct detailed mapping and additional infill soil sampling at the Gum Well prospect. These systematic efforts are designed to refine the geological model and progress high-priority areas toward first-pass drill testing in the coming months.
