Viking Mines Limited has confirmed high-grade tungsten mineralisation at its regional Terrell and Long projects in Nevada, returning surface and channel sample assays of up to 2.7% WO3 across the historic mine sites.

Reconnaissance sampling at the Terrell prospect yielded surface grades including a float sample of contract skarn at 2.4% WO3 and granite-hosted veins reaching up to 1.7% WO3. Historical stockpile material at Terrell graded between 0.4% and 0.5% WO3.

At the Long prospect, continuous channel sampling across historic underground and surface workings delivered high-grade intercepts of 1.80m at 1.8% WO3—which included a 0.45m sub-interval at 2.7% WO3—along with a 1.35m intercept at 0.6% WO3. Reconnaissance grab samples further confirmed mineralisation extending east of the mine along the intrusive contact, returning grades of up to 0.3% WO3.

Both prospects sit within intrusion-related skarn settings, indicating potential for unmined skarn bodies beneath existing workings and along buried granite margins.

The company has pursued a two-track strategy at its Nevada tungsten operations, advancing historical surface stockpiles toward offtake-grade concentrate while permitting maiden drill programmes. Viking Mines is planning additional fieldwork and regulatory permitting to facilitate future drilling at the Long and Terrell projects.

The company is also identifying and assessing suitable US toll treatment operators to process the approved 907-tonne bulk sample from the Linka Tungsten Project, which will generate concentrate samples for offtake assessment with Ammonium Paratungstate refineries.

Elsewhere in Nevada's tungsten sector, Guardian Metal Resources plc has announced plans to acquire Lincoln Estates and annual water rights to support its nearby Tempiute Tungsten Project.
