Viking Mines Limited has intersected 14 metres at 0.56% tungsten trioxide from 40 metres downhole in the first reverse circulation hole drilled into the historic Linka Mine area at the Linka Tungsten Project in Nevada, USA.

Hole LKRC0002 yielded an estimated true width of approximately 9 metres and included a higher-grade interval of 5 metres at 0.81% tungsten trioxide from 47 metres, with individual 1-metre samples grading up to 1.18%. The mineralisation is hosted in tactite skarn and lies approximately 38 metres vertically below surface, directly down dip of the historic stope mined from the 150-foot level in 1955 and 1956.

Laboratory assays validated the company’s visual scheelite logging under shortwave ultraviolet light, with the 14-metre assayed interval matching closely to the 12-metre visual estimate.

To date, Viking has completed 16 reverse circulation drillholes across the project, comprising 13 holes around the Linka Main pit and workings, two regional exploratory holes, and one hole at the southwest extension.

The first regional exploratory hole, LKRC0013, was drilled 0.35 kilometres west of the Linka Main shaft and intersected 4.5 metres of limestone above the monzonite intrusive beneath 16.8 metres of younger Bates Mountain Tuff cover. This confirms that limestone host rock is preserved across a broader area of the monzonite intrusion than previously anticipated.

At the southwest extension, hole LKRC0001 was abandoned at approximately 36 metres prior to reaching its target depth due to cover sequence ground conditions, with the team planning to return to the area later in the program.

Viking previously completed project-wide historical data digitisation capturing 70 historical holes totalling approximately 2,881 metres at the project, alongside TOMRA XRT ore sorting testwork and an independent conceptual processing study for a 300,000 tonnes per annum facility. The company is also assessing suitable US-based toll treatment operators to process an approved 1,000 short ton bulk sample.

Assay results for subsequent drillholes are pending, with the next batch expected in mid to late September 2026.
