Viking Mines has intersected multiple zones of strong disseminated scheelite mineralisation in the first drilling program undertaken at the Linka Tungsten Project in Nevada in over 40 years.

The initial reverse circulation holes encountered mineralisation hosted in tactite over significant widths, identified visually using shortwave ultraviolet fluorescence at 254nm. Hole LKRC0002 returned a 12-metre continuous interval with visible scheelite starting from 40 metres downhole, with estimated abundances ranging from 0.1% to 3.0%. Hole LKRC0003 intersected a combined total of 13 metres of visible scheelite over a 19-metre horizon from 9 metres downhole, while hole LKRC0004 yielded a combined total of 11 metres of visible scheelite over a 21-metre horizon from 3 metres downhole.

Viking signed a binding term sheet in December 2025 to acquire a 100% interest in the project, which comprises the historically producing Linka, Conquest, and Hillside mines. The company reported $4.7 million in cash as of 31 March 2026 to fund its ongoing exploration and development activities.

The first batch of samples from the mineralised intercepts is currently being prepared for dispatch to ALS Laboratories in Reno, Nevada. First assay results from the maiden program are expected in approximately four to six weeks.
