Vinland Lithium Extends Private Placement Financing Deadline to September
Vinland Lithium Inc. has pushed the closing date for its $0.48 private placement financing to September 30, 2026. The extension provides the company with additional time to secure final subscription documents before the transaction wraps up.
All other terms of the placement remain unchanged. Final completion of the financing continues to be conditional upon receiving final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
The funding supports ongoing operations at the Killick Lithium Project in southwestern Newfoundland. Vinland holds a 100% interest in the property, subject only to a 2% net smelter return royalty split evenly between Benton Resources and Pirate Gold. The company secured full control of the asset in January 2026 after its previous option partner terminated an option agreement, citing a shift in corporate strategy toward production and later-stage assets.
The Killick property covers 30 kilometres of prospective geological terrane along the Baie d'Est Fault. Originally discovered in 2021 by personnel from Benton Resources and Sokoman Minerals, the project hosts multiple spodumene-pegmatites within the Kraken Pegmatite Field alongside high-grade cesium, tantalum, and lithium mineralization hosted in the Hydra Pegmatite.

Initial drilling phases completed across the property have returned several notable intercepts, including 8.4 metres grading 0.95% lithium oxide in hole GH-22-01 at the Kraken Dyke, 16.2 metres grading 0.43% lithium oxide in hole GH-22-05 at Kraken North, and 20.82 metres grading 0.60% lithium oxide—including a 5.5-metre section grading 1.16% lithium oxide—in hole GH-22-15 at the East Dyke. Additional drilling highlights include 15.23 metres of 1.04% lithium oxide in hole GH-22-27 and 13.37 metres of 1.22% lithium oxide in hole GH-22-45 at the Killick Dyke. At the Hydra Cesium Dyke, initial channel sampling returned up to 8.75% cesium oxide, 0.41% lithium oxide, 0.025% tantalum pentoxide, and 0.33% rubidium oxide over 1.2 metres, including a higher-grade interval spanning 0.4 metres that assayed 13.57% cesium oxide and 0.32% lithium oxide.
Building on this geological foundation, Vinland is planning additional field work to commence in the coming weeks. Crews will target Top Pond Ridge, North Kraken, and other selected zones across the property where anomalous tungsten has been identified in recent sampling programs.
