Viscount Mining Corp. (VML) has launched an accelerated, data-driven targeting program at its Cherry Creek project in Nevada. The company has consolidated and upgraded a significant historical dataset, previously scattered, into a unified, property-wide exploration database. By integrating modern geology, geochemistry, and geophysics into a 3D modeling workflow, the technical team aims to systematically define high-conviction drill targets across the district-scale land package.

The initiative focuses on identifying potential in a variety of mineral systems, including copper-molybdenum porphyries, silver-copper carbonate replacement deposits, and high-grade gold veins. Priority focus areas include the Lead Mine Canyon, Mary Anne, and TiCup zones. This technical pivot marks a shift toward a more methodical, district-scale discovery strategy.

"We are effectively starting to see Cherry Creek come together as a true district-scale opportunity."

"What was previously a fragmented dataset is now being transformed into a cohesive exploration platform, and that is where real value creation begins."

— Mark Abrams, VP of Exploration

Looking ahead, Viscount anticipates a steady cadence of technical updates. Short-term priorities include finalizing integrated map layers, followed by near-term target synthesis and prioritization across the project’s various zones. These steps are intended to advance the asset toward future field-based drill programs.

Beyond its Nevada operations, the company maintains a dual-asset strategy that includes its Silver Cliff silver project in Colorado. Separately, Viscount announced the board-approved grant of 500,000 stock options to a consultant, exercisable at a price of $0.50 per share over three years.
