Viscount Mining Identifies Antimony and Tellurium Anomalies at Cherry Creek
Viscount Mining Corp. has released the results of a comprehensive geochemical review for its Cherry Creek Project in White Pine County, Nevada, identifying broad surface anomalies in critical minerals antimony and tellurium.
The review combined rock, soil, and stream sediment sampling data across thousands of sample points. Testing across more than 1,965 rock samples and 4,593 soil samples returned elevated values for both elements. Specifically, 106 rock samples yielded antimony concentrations between 100 and 10,000 parts per million, which the company interprets as indicating primary stibnite mineralization along a central east-west structural corridor. An additional 534 rock samples returned between 15 and 100 parts per million antimony, outlining a wider geochemical halo.

The dataset also incorporated property-wide tellurium results for the first time. The review identified 13 rock samples exceeding 4 parts per million tellurium, with peak values reaching 56.8 parts per million against unmineralized baseline levels typically below 0.1 parts per million. Soil sampling supported these findings with 13 samples exceeding 0.26 parts per million and peaking at 1.4 parts per million, pointing toward a bedrock-hosted source along the northeast-trending Exchequer Fault.
The Cherry Creek property covers 219 unpatented and 19 patented claims encompassing more than 20 past-producing mines. The district is 100% controlled by Viscount Mining and is being evaluated across multiple target styles, including carbonate-replacement zones, epithermal veins, and porphyry-related systems.
The new analytical data is being integrated with existing geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets to refine and prioritize drill targets across the property, with particular focus directed toward the structural antimony-gold corridor and the Exchequer Fault gold-bismuth-tellurium target.
Regional exploration in White Pine County includes work by NevGold Corp. at its Limousine Butte project located approximately 10 kilometres to the southwest. While regional projects share an interest in Nevada antimony systems, Viscount Mining notes that Cherry Creek is distinguished by a complex polymetallic hydrothermal signature encompassing silver, tungsten, copper, and newly delineated tellurium.
