Volt Carbon Technologies Inc. has appointed Rear Admiral Charles "Chip" Rock, Tim Spadafore, and Theresa Irving to its non-governance Technical and Business Advisory Board.

The new appointments formalize ongoing collaborative relationships between the advisors and Volt Carbon's management team. The incoming members join an existing advisory roster that includes Rear Admiral Jonathan A. Yuen, Ernest Hinojos, Corbett M. Landes, and Brendan Scott.

The expanded advisory board brings experience spanning senior military leadership, national security, U.S. federal markets, and technology commercialization. Rear Admiral Rock will advise the company on North American critical minerals, advanced materials, and energy technologies, with an emphasis on the U.S. defence and national security sectors.

Spadafore brings background in U.S. federal markets, enterprise technology, and organizational scaling. He will guide Volt Carbon on federal-market strategy, business development, and commercialization partnerships. Irving, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and founder of Epic Military Brands, will advise on business development and engagement across the U.S. defence and dual-use technology ecosystem.

The advisory board supports management in identifying strategic relationships and commercialization opportunities across defence, national security, and federal markets. The appointments coincide with Volt Carbon's ongoing development of proprietary carbon materials and processing technologies, building on intellectual property milestones that include the receipt of three U.S. patent allowances for its dry separation technology.
