Volta Metals Ltd. has closed the acquisition of a 100% interest in three contiguous unpatented mining claims adjoining its Springer Rare Earth Element deposit near Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, securing a single, contiguous land block and a clear path to full ownership of the entire project package.

In consideration for the claims, Volta issued 600,000 common shares subject to a statutory four-month and one-day hold period under Canadian securities laws. The closing follows a definitive agreement announced on August 11, 2026.

The transaction adds to a series of consolidation steps at the flagship Springer asset, where Volta moved to 100% ownership in July 2026 following an initial option agreement in June 2025. That previous transaction includes an $800,000 deferred cash balance that must be settled by June 14, 2027. Ranked among the top 10 largest rare earth deposits in North America, the Springer project is being advanced by Volta toward a Preliminary Economic Assessment.
