Volta Metals Finalizes Full Ownership of Springer Project
Volta Metals Ltd. (VLTA) has completed the acquisition of the final 20% interest in its flagship Springer Rare Earth Element and Gallium deposit. By securing this remaining stake from RZJ Capital Management, LLC, the company has now moved to 100% ownership of the project. The transaction involves total consideration of $1,000,000 in cash and the issuance of 10,000,000 common shares. As part of the initial closing, the company has already issued 5,000,000 of these shares.
In addition to consolidating the deposit, Volta has finalized the purchase of a mineral claim contiguous with the eastern boundary of the property. This acquisition was secured through an agreement with an arm’s length vendor, for which the company issued 600,000 shares. Both the shares issued for the remaining interest and those allocated for the new claim are subject to a standard four-month hold period under Canadian securities regulations.
These moves align with the company’s broader corporate strategy, which focuses on acquiring and developing a portfolio of critical mineral projects across Ontario. By securing total ownership of its flagship asset, the company aims to streamline its operational control and advance the project toward full-scale exploration and resource development. The Springer deposit, located near Sturgeon Falls, benefits from proximity to established infrastructure, including paved highway access, rail service, and local hydroelectric power lines.
With the ownership structure now simplified and the land position expanded, Volta is moving toward its next phase of operational activity. The company has outlined plans to continue exploration across the property to evaluate the potential of the consolidated ground. This transition to full control is intended to remove previous project encumbrances and provide the company with the flexibility required to execute its long-term technical programs for the rare earth and gallium deposit.
