Vortex Energy Corp. has received a final technical study from Lonquist Field Service (Canada), ULC, detailing subsurface salt structures at its Robinsons River project in Newfoundland and Labrador. The report integrates seismic, gravity, and historical drilling data to refine the property’s geological model and establish a roadmap for future work.

The study confirms a substantial halite-bearing system within the western block, where previous drilling at hole VTX-24-W-02 intersected a gross salt interval of approximately 278 metres. Seismic interpretation identified a potential step-out area to the west, the "Cloverleaf" location, where the salt section is interpreted to reach 350 metres in thickness. Additionally, reprocessed gravity data indicate a large, untested target to the east. While unconfirmed by drilling, the study suggests this eastern area may be deeper and potentially contain cleaner salt than the western structure.

The report notes the western block contains heterogeneous salt with frequent mudstone interbeds. Preliminary assessments based on core descriptions estimate salt may comprise 65% to 75% of the evaluated interval’s volume. The company emphasizes this is a high-level estimate and does not constitute a formal mineral resource or reserve.

Following these findings, Vortex has identified near-term steps to refine data before further drilling. The company will prioritize detailed core analysis from VTX-24-W-02 to accurately determine salt volume, alongside studies to evaluate local source-water availability and disposal capacity for potential operations.

This study is not an independent technical report prepared under NI 43-101. No economic evaluation has been established, and the project remains in the early stages of exploration. Any future decisions regarding drilling or commercial applications—such as brine production or energy storage—remain subject to ongoing technical, regulatory, and commercial assessments.
