Vortex Energy Corp. has engaged Lonquist Field Service (Canada), ULC to manage a targeted ground gravity survey at its 100%-owned Robinsons River Salt Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, advancing the program announced on September 3, 2026.

Lonquist will coordinate survey planning and oversee third-party gravity data acquisition and processing. The program builds on a recent technical study, with additional measurements designed to fill gaps in existing gravity coverage across selected priority areas. The resulting data will complement existing geological, drilling and geophysical information to support subsurface interpretation and exploration targets.

The Robinsons River property comprises 942 claims covering 23,500 hectares located approximately 35 kilometres south of Stephenville. Vortex is evaluating the asset for both salt extraction and potential hydrogen salt cavern storage.

Survey design, contractor arrangements and schedules are being finalized, with fieldwork subject to company approval of the final program and confirmation of required permits and access arrangements. The company notes that gravity interpretations are non-unique and cannot on their own establish salt composition, thickness or continuity.
