VR Resources Hits Long Mineralized Interval at New Boston

VR Resources Ltd (TSX.V: VRR) has finished an 881-metre drill hole at its New Boston project in Nevada, marking a significant step in testing the site’s potential. The hole, designated NB26-003, intersected continuous polyphase veining and sulfide mineralization from top to bottom. The company reported that the drilling successfully confirmed a deep-seated conductivity and chargeability anomaly first identified during a 2023 geophysical survey, which is now interpreted as the sulfide-bearing center of a large polymetallic skarn and porphyry system.

The drilling operation encountered high-temperature garnet skarn and pervasive hydrothermal alteration throughout the entire 2,892-foot intersection. Because of the intense mineralization, the hole was terminated at depth due to drill-hole instability while still within a mineralized zone. The company noted that the results highlight a diverse array of intrusive porphyry phases, which are believed to be the primary drivers for the expansive mineralized system visible across the property.

With the drilling phase concluded, the company has moved into an intensive data analysis stage. Resources are being dedicated to long-wavelength and short-wavelength infrared hyperspectral scanning of the entire core at specialized laboratories in Reno to map alteration zonation. Simultaneously, crews are processing the core for detailed geochemical analysis, utilizing advanced digestion techniques to optimize the detection of molybdenum and tungsten.

These upcoming results will dictate the next phase of operations. The company plans to use the data collected from this deep intersection to refine its geological model and prioritize a list of eight additional drill sites already cleared under its current permit.
