VRX Silica Limited (ASX: VRX) has secured $4.5 million in funding through a strategic equity placement to two major investment groups. US-based fund Nebari Partners is contributing $3.5 million, while the Delphi group, an existing shareholder, is investing $1 million. The capital injection is expected to settle on 17 July 2026.

These funds are specifically earmarked to progress early works, finalise detailed engineering, and complete the property purchase for the Arrowsmith North silica sand project. The company noted that the investment significantly strengthens its institutional presence, a key component of its broader strategy as it transitions toward the development phase of the project.

"I am delighted to welcome Nebari, an experienced and strategic resources financier, as a shareholder of VRX and appreciate the additional support from our major shareholder, Delphi."

"Nebari looks forward to a valuable and growing partnership with VRX, as they bring Arrowsmith North into production."

The influx of capital arrives as the company actively engages in the project financing process for the site. By bolstering its register with institutional backing, management aims to establish a more stable foundation for the upcoming construction requirements. The company is targeting first production at the project in late 2027, an operational milestone that remains central to its current development timeline.

In addition to the equity subscription, Nebari will provide potential future debt financing capacity for the project. This dual approach—incorporating both immediate strategic equity and access to potential credit facilities—highlights the company's focus on securing the necessary capital structure for its transition into a developer-producer. The placement follows standard listing rule requirements, with shares priced at $0.034 per share, including free-attaching options. Post-settlement, Nebari will hold a 10.46% interest in the company, while the Delphi group will hold 13.66% on an undiluted basis. With these commitments now locked in, the team is set to accelerate the technical work required for the planned launch of its primary assets.
