Wallbridge Mining Company Limited has returned final assay results from seven diamond drill holes totaling 3,144 metres at the Fenelon Gold Project in Quebec, highlighted by an intercept of 52.30 g/t gold over 2.1 metres in hole FAL-26-001.

The 2026 metallurgical drilling program targeted areas evaluated for underground mining in the March 2025 preliminary economic assessment. The work yielded 820 kilograms of mineralized material, which has been delivered to Base Metallurgical Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops, British Columbia, for variability testing under the direction of Synectiq Inc.

The seven holes intersected gold mineralization consistent with the project's geological model. Assay results returned multiple significant intervals, including 8.27 g/t gold over 16.4 metres in hole FAL-26-002A, 25.41 g/t gold over 3.6 metres in hole FAL-26-003, and 10.67 g/t gold over 5.0 metres in hole FAL-26-005. Additional higher-grade intervals were intersected outside the preliminary economic assessment mine plan, including 11.81 g/t gold over 3.6 metres in hole FAL-26-004 and 25.91 g/t gold over 1.6 metres in hole FAL-26-007.

Wallbridge acquired the original Fenelon property in 2016 before advancing the asset through resource delineation to preliminary economic assessment and metallurgical testing stages.

Initial results from the 2026 metallurgical testing program are expected in the latter half of the fourth quarter of 2026. The testing program involves trade-off evaluations comparing gold recoveries across three alternative mineral processing methods: whole ore leach, whole ore leach with carbon, and flotation. Additional tests will evaluate the suitability of residual tailings material for post-processing dry stack storage.

“The results from the 2026 metallurgical drilling campaign underscore the strength and continuity of gold mineralization within the areas of the Fenelon deposit contemplated for underground mining in the conceptual PEA mine plan,” said Brian Penny, CEO of Wallbridge. “These results provide further confidence in the geological and grade continuity of the deposit while delivering the high quality of sample material needed to better characterize gold recovery characteristics and metallurgical performance across Fenelon as we advance the project toward its next major milestone, completion of the PFS in late 2027 or early 2028.”

Completion of the pre-feasibility study for the project is targeted for late 2027 or early 2028. Ahead of that milestone, Wallbridge has scheduled a special meeting of shareholders for September 29, 2026, to vote on a proposed share consolidation and name change to Sunday Lake Gold Corp.
