Wallbridge Mining Company Limited has mobilized field crews and a diamond drill rig to the Casault gold property in Quebec to begin a 3,000-metre diamond drilling campaign.

The program comprises 10 to 12 drill holes designed to test more than 15 newly recognized exploration targets generated from recent structural and geophysical interpretations. Operations follow a roughly six-week interruption caused by regional wildfire activity.

Drilling will initially focus on the Vortex gold occurrence, where Wallbridge plans 5 to 6 holes totaling 1,500 to 1,750 metres to evaluate an interpreted eastern extension of the shear-hosted gold system. Additional drilling will test the C2 target with 3 to 4 holes spanning 750 to 1,000 metres.

Wallbridge holds an option to earn up to a 65% interest in the Casault property from Midland Exploration through staged exploration expenditures and earn-in commitments. The property covers a 20-kilometre section of the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone, linking Wallbridge's Fenelon and Martiniere projects with Agnico Eagle's Detour Lake mine. Historical drilling by Midland at Casault in 2017 discovered the Vortex Zone, tracing gold mineralization approximately 1,200 metres along strike.

“We are very pleased to have our exploration team and drilling crews back in the field following the approximately six-week interruption caused by regional wildfire activity,” said Brian Penny, CEO of Wallbridge. “The team is eager to begin drilling at Casault to test the high-priority targets generated through a comprehensive reinterpretation of field mapping and historic drilling and geophysical data recently completed by our exploration team. Over the coming weeks, we will also resume the initial ramp-up of infill drilling at Fenelon in preparation for a larger campaign beginning in the fourth quarter to support the pre-feasibility study planned for completion in late 2027 or early 2028. With activities restarting across our Detour-Fenelon trend property, we look forward to advancing both our near-term development objectives at Fenelon and the potential for new gold discoveries across our broader property holdings, beginning with Casault.”

The ongoing exploration programs form part of Wallbridge's broader regional strategy across its contiguous mineral claim holdings in Northern Abitibi.
