West Coast Silver Limited has restructured its board, appointing Sergei Smolonogov as Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer, and Vince Fayad as Non-Executive Chairman, effective 5 August 2026. The appointments are intended to bolster technical and corporate leadership as the company advances its Elizabeth Hill silver project toward a Scoping Study.

Mr. Smolonogov, who previously served as the company’s technical director on a contract basis, brings experience from his former role as executive General Manager at Adriatic Metals. Mr. Fayad joins with over 40 years of experience in corporate finance and governance with listed resource companies.

The transition includes the planned departure of current Executive Director-Corporate, Bruce Garlick, who will remain with the company until 5 November 2026 to support the leadership handover. Additionally, Non-Executive Director Eugene Sharrock is stepping down from the board.

The company is currently executing a Growth and Development Plan centered on expanding its silver resource base. To facilitate this, West Coast Silver has consolidated its land holdings into a single, contiguous 180km² package, allowing for systematic exploration of the Munni Munni Fault system.

Advancing the Elizabeth Hill project remains a core priority. The new board will oversee the progression of metallurgical, geotechnical, and other technical studies required to inform the upcoming Scoping Study.

Operational work continues in parallel with these board changes. The company is scheduled to deliver an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026. Exploration activities in the same period will prioritize follow-up drilling to define the extents, continuity, and grade of a newly identified high-grade silver zone located below historical underground workings at the site.
