West Point Gold Hits 7.6 Metres at 2.22 g/t Gold at Black Dyke
West Point Gold intersected 7.6 metres grading 2.22 grams per tonne gold from 62.5 metres depth in hole GC26-144 at the Black Dyke prospect, located four kilometres west of the Tyro Main Zone at the Gold Chain Project in Arizona.
The assay results form part of an initial six reverse-circulation holes totaling 626.4 metres and a follow-up program of five holes totaling 603.4 metres. These holes concluded a broader 21,079-metre drilling campaign executed across 2025 and 2026 at the flagship property.
Additional results from the Black Dyke follow-up holes include hole GC26-146, which intersected 16.8 metres of 0.90 grams per tonne gold from 71.6 metres, and hole GC26-143, which returned 6.1 metres of 1.49 grams per tonne gold from 54.9 metres. Holes GC26-149 and GC26-150 returned no significant intercepts. All widths are downhole, with true widths greater than 80% of downhole widths.
Alongside its own drilling, West Point Gold recently acquired a historical data package containing 74 reverse-circulation holes drilled by Western States Mining Company between 1986 and 1992, as well as collar locations for 57 holes drilled by American Copper and Nickel Company. While the company considers the historical data useful for targeting, the qualified person noted that these results have not been sufficiently verified and remain NI 43-101 non-compliant. Historical data included two very high-grade intercepts exceeding 30 grams per tonne gold approximately 200 metres southwest of the company's current drilling.
"Our drill results from 2026, combined with the recently acquired historical drill data, provide West Point Gold with a clearer view of the potential at Black Dyke. Our drilling, along with the recently acquired historical data, suggests that this target warrants further drilling. The Company continues to believe that additional drilling at the target area may result in a satellite resource at the Gold Chain project"
