West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. has reported initial assay results from the first five holes of a surface drilling program at the historic, past-producing Starratt-Olsen Mine in Ontario, Canada.

Hole WRL26-054 intersected 1.5 metres grading 16.16 grams per tonne gold from 121.15 metres, including 0.85 metres grading 24.60 grams per tonne gold from 121.15 metres. A second hole, WRL26-055, intersected 4.5 metres grading 5.16 grams per tonne gold from 114.0 metres, which included a 1.5-metre interval grading 10.94 grams per tonne gold from 116.5 metres.

The completed summer drill program at Starratt consisted of 4,100 metres of oriented HQ diameter diamond drilling across 12 holes, compared to an initially planned program of up to 4,000 metres announced in June 2026. The work marks the first focused drill-testing effort in the main areas of historic mining at Starratt since operations ceased in the 1950s. Starratt stands as the second-largest historical gold producer at the Madsen property, having yielded approximately 164,000 ounces of gold between 1948 and 1956 at an average grade of 6.17 grams per tonne.

West Red Lake Gold is pursuing a hub-and-spoke growth strategy where the Madsen mill and infrastructure serve as a central processing hub for multiple deposits across the Red Lake District. Processing rates at the Madsen Mine are expected to increase to approximately 1,000 tonnes per day over the second half of 2026. Meanwhile, the company is advancing the Fork deposit toward inclusion in the 2027 production profile using ramp development.

With Madsen in production, Fork advancing toward inclusion in the 2027 production profile with ramp development, and Rowan in the permitting stage and being evaluated alongside Madsen in a proposed combined Pre-Feasibility Study, Starratt represents another opportunity to assess the potential of this broader mineralized system to the southwest along the Madsen structural trend.”

Following the completion of the summer drilling, the exploration team is evaluating potential underground access from the Madsen 16 Level exploration drive to explore the main Starratt ore shoot at depth.
