Western Star Resources Inc. has mobilised a geophysical field crew to its 100%-owned Eagle Point tungsten project in Hidalgo County, New Mexico, to complete a property-wide unmanned aerial vehicle magnetic survey.

The survey aims to cover the property at 25 to 50-metre line spacing to map out the geometry and extent of the limestone-intrusive contact and magnetite-bearing tactite bodies that host scheelite mineralisation. Data acquisition is expected to wrap up in approximately three weeks, with processed results and interpretations feeding directly into geological mapping and sampling to prioritise targets ahead of a planned maiden drill program.

Western Star acquired a 100% interest in the past-producing asset in June 2026.
